Project Overview
Null is a story about the nature of escapism and how it can distort the perceptions of our reality and is loosely based on my own childhood experiences. I wanted to create a video game concept that allowed both the main character and the player to explore escapism through multiple levels, game mechanics, and illustrations, with each enemy reflecting a real event happening in the main character’s “reality.”

I created multiple forms of design for this project including a logo, informational booklet, posters and advertisements, and level concepts. I wanted to ensure each represented the mystery and intrigue of the world I was building, drawing the audience closer and making them think about their understanding of what it means to "escape."
